I feel like I’ve been subconsciously been waiting to hear this song for a long time. It’s like the idea of what a perfect song should be was in my head, and I just had to hear this song to realize that it’s what I’ve been wanting all along.
The original by Flight Facilities is a dreamy enough song, with a motif reminiscent of many Ibiza house classics gently establishing the beach vibe in the background. Jess’ vocals make me feel like I’m laying back on a sunlounger, caipirinha in hand, as I watch the sun float down to the horizon. And then this Myndset bootleg edit adds just that final little touch of a danceable beat, a dash of extra instrumentals, and - voila! – the perfect summer song.

Just released today is Dada Life’s new raging single, perfect for glowsticking anywhere and everywhere. “Happy Violence” is aesthetically similar to “White Noise / Red Meat” and “Unleash The Fucking Dada”, with a single melody guiding you through the track while being surrounded by fat stadium-filling bass and the drumwork that gets you to put your hands up in wild joy.
The sound has been huge for them, adding to a great year for Dada Life. They’ve even made a VST plug-in for producers called the Sausage Fattener, intended to fatten up your bass or pretty much any channel in your track.

While venting about the stress of paparazzi following her everywhere, in large part due to the media frenzy surrounding the next Batman movie, Anne Hathaway decided to unleash a rap she’s been writing on Conan. Pretty random, for sure, but the audience loved it and it does seem pretty hilarious. So obviously it just HAS to get remixed/mashed-up.
So then DJ Woody, a ridiculously awesome scratch DJ from the UK, made magic happen by mixing her rap with some Nero and using some serious turntable skill to chop up her vocals and splice it together into a half-decent, very funny song.

This should make it easier for you to get into your own lazy mood without sifting through genres you might not enjoy so much.
